Julie, a journalist, receives anonymous letters in the mail threatening to shoot her. At the same time, someone starts killing women from the group therapy meetings she attends. Julie's loved ones are convinced that there is no connection between these incidents, and the letters are just someone's bad joke. However, the woman begins to suspect everyone: her psychologist Peter, who was intimate with all of the murdered; Alison, Peter's daughter, who discovered that her father and Julie were having an affair; her ex-husband Doug, who did not want a divorce; and others.
