In 2011, during a routine satellite repair, astronauts in outer space were attacked by a strange swarm that flew out of a lunar crater. One astronaut died, and the second - Brian Harper - for several years after the incident tried to convince NASA that an unexplained phenomenon was to blame for the incident.

10 years later, the Moon suddenly goes out of orbit and goes to collide with the Earth, which provokes multiple cataclysms and threatens the death of mankind. An amateur astronomer, who was the first to notice this anomaly and believes that the Moon is a megastructure, unsuccessfully tries to reach the government, so he asks for help from the retired Harper.
