Mission: Impossible II 4K 2000

After Brian De Palma successfully delivered on the cult series ""Kobra, take over!"" in the movie houses world over four years earlier, in 2000 they switched to the Chinese action master John Woo (A Better Tomorrow, Bullet in the Head, Hard Boiled). Whereas Robert Towne had to write the script based on the action sequences already planned in detail by the director. These scenes were also the reason for some disagreement between Tom Cruise and John Woo as they wanted to realize their ideas about the action in the film.

When the film begins, IMF super-agent Ethan Hunt's (Tom Cruise) new mission leads him to Sidney after a flying visit to Seville. There he is said to be chasing away the ex IMF employee Ambrose (Dougray Scott) a deadly virus that he stole during a spectacular airplane robbery. Ambrose's crafty thief and ex-girlfriend Nyah (Thandie Newton), and Hunt's old pal Luther (Ving Rhames) are said to help Hunt before the virus breaks free ...
