The city needs heroes. Darkness has enveloped New York in the form of Shredder and his sinister Foot Clan, who have ironclad control over everyone from cops to politicians. The future looks bleak until a foursome of outcast brothers, the Ninja Turtles, rise from the sewers and reveal their purpose.
