Many hundreds of years ago, the ambitious warrior Xu Wenu took possession of a magical battle artifact, the Ten Rings, with which he defeated all enemies and created a secret organization. For centuries he has been gathering an army and secretly interfering in the course of world history, but in 1996 he met a beautiful girl, a martial arts master of the hidden village of Ta Lo, settled down and started a family.

San Francisco, 25 years later. Guy Sean works as an ordinary parking lot attendant, and spends his evenings at karaoke with his friend and colleague Katie - a big fan of fast cars.
